Across the border!

We made it! Managed to work our way into Butte, Montana for the night. Since it was getting dark, and Stef and I were already tired from trying to make the Cunningham's house somewhat presentable, we chose to snag a room for the night instead of a campground. Progress has been a little slow due to fatigue from moving, but after this night's good sleep, we ough to be able to do the remaining 700 something kilometers into Park City, our first major destination.

I was trying to upload some HD videos to Youtube, but this laptop is not cut out to view HD content. Until I can actually confirm that the videos will work, I wll hold off on posting them. For now, a few pictures.

Making Montana a more bearable place to be during mosquito season...one bug at a time.

Some stop at some place in that one state...some things never leave you.

Oh yes, and a shameless plug. Stef and I both got a treatment from Don Montgomery before we left, though Stef moreso. Our backs feel pretty darn good considering the conditions, and we wanted to thank him for the time and generosity!

Random factoid of the day:

The speed limits down here are different if you are driving a large truck. Most highways state 75 mph as the limit for cars, but only 65 for trucks. Either way, we still get to go 120 kph legally. Hooray for making time!

  1. Gotta love those interstate highways.. although they're not the most scenic.
